Elder Chase Mikkola

  Yes thats right im still alive and yes I know it's late so I'm sorry that's its late. This week was a mix of crazy/sameol sameol. Tuesday morning I finished 1st Nephi so that was cool. Then we went out to find new people to teach at Walmart. After a bit we decided to go over to the tj max parking lot. At some point I needed to use the bathroom so we walked in and they had Christmas pajamas everywhere so I bought some Homer Simpson pj's of course. And you can't forget the cowbell sweater I bought with it. Later that night there was an interfaith meeting at the church and all sorts of different religions were there yelling and preaching in the church so it was kinda cool. After we got home elder larson decided he wanted to burn a shirt because it was his year mark so he put it in a 5 gallon bucket and lit it up.   Good afternoon brothers and sisters.I was asked to introduce myself.   For those of you who don't know me, which I'm pretty sure is all of you. I'm Elder Mikkola. I'm from Ririe, rigby Idaho. If you're familiar with Idaho, it's close to Idaho falls. I've lived there all my life. I've got three younger brothers, and no sisters. So unfortunately im the oldest. You know how that goes. A couple things I like to do around home are riding dirtbikes, hunting and fishing. I graduated highschool In 2020 at the technical careers highschool in Idaho falls in the welding program. After graduation I got a job working for a bridge construction company out of state for almost a year and a half. I worked in Montana,Idaho,Utah,and wyoming.   Well I've been a missionary for almost a month now and I've received an email from alot of you and yes I'm still alive haha. I'm on long Island in a town called plainview. My companion is elder larson from st George Utah. This week has consisted of talking to many many rude people that blow you off and act like your not even there, one guy cussing me out and telling me that I'm apart of a cult and the church just asks for money. On the bright side if gotten a few people to say they were going to church which was awesome. There's not alot of members of the church out here so it's really different.
