Hey everyone what's shaking. I'm still alive ya ya. It's been a good week, a little slow to the start but it's been good. God's really been coming around with miracles and I'm glad I'm apart of this amazing work. Our friends michael clinton and shati walls got baptized this Saturday and it was amazing to see the joy they had after they came out of the water. Michael has been working hard to quit smoking and this week he had his final pack. I know this gospel has already started to change his life for the better. At one point this week we didn't think he was gonna be baptized. He saw an ad on Facebook and it was about health or something. Like an ad from the church. And he thought it was from elder Kim and I and he thought we were trying to hurt him. He told us he didn't wanna come to church and he didn't wanna get baptized then he called us the day after and apologized and said he wanted to get baptized. Kinda crazy right. But God brought him back. Like I said, miracles are happening left and right. I had the opportunity to confirm michael a member of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-day Saints. It was the most spiritual experience I've had since I've been out so far. It's like I felt the spirit binding itself with his soul. I know that the spirits companionship and guidance will also help him become a tool in God's hands. All I can say is people can change. I've not only seen that In my life but Michael's life. Before I came out I was making really bad decisions and by the power and mercy and atonement of our lord Jesus Christ I was able to find myself and truly feel godly sorry and desire to change. To repent is to change and that's the only way possible for us to live with the savior again. I love this gospel and I love you all.
People can see the light that the members of this church have. I knew that before i came out here but I see and experience it every single day. Even one day this week I invited a man to church and he kindly declined but I guess we were so kind and genuine that he returned 20-30 minutes later and found us to bring hot chocolate from star bucks. We even took a picture with him so that was an awesome experience.
Besides from the spiritual matters of this week I did see a Nissan skyline. Pretty awesome if you ask me. Maybe I'll have one someday haha. And i saw a new ford bronco that actually looks pretty decent for being a stock bronco. I even saw a kawasaki ninja. I know its not a dirtbike but it has two wheels and a motor. I think I'm having dirtbike withdrawals. My dad must know because he sent me a model dirtbike on a stand. That helped alot haha even a kawasaki. I hope I'm making my uncle John proud because I love kawasaki haha.
Poor michael had to wear an XXL baptismal suit because the suit we had for him to wear wouldn't unzip so we had to throw him in the big one but that didn't stop him. He's such an example of change for me. He's so awesome.
Another person I invited to church in Spanish got baptized this weekend. It just goes to show all you have to do it talk to someone and you can change their life. I'm so happy to be in newyork even though idaho is way better. But anyways God is great. It's only through God that this work gets accomplished.
I hope you all have an awesome week and always you are in my prayers. God's always watching you and don't forget he's by your side. I'll write again next week.
Also I have two more friends getting baptized this weekend so please keep kenny smith and boris barerra in your prayers. Thank you all so much for the continuis support.
