Here ya go🫡 (late)

 Conference weekend came so fast and and was gone even faster. We texted and called a bunch of people to come watch conference with us at the church and we didn't have much luck. I called and invited one of our friends that told us he wasn't interested at the beginning of the week. (He got into some anti Mormon stuff) and he said he would come. He came for a session and left. He didn't say much but called us that night and told us he wanted to be baptized. I know that as we have faith it helps work miracles.  It's really been a blessing to see it effect not only my life but the lives of my friends. 


The past two weeks have been a blurr honestly.  Satans been pushing at me quite a bit with my desire to serve and my faith. But prayer has been a big changing factor in my life lately. Before I came out here I didn't really pray much and they were pretty much the exact same prayer every time. I've learned prayer is a form of communication. It's like talking to your parents. How are they supposed to help you if they don't know what's going on? Well I mean God knows exactly what we are going through but we need to be humble enough to pray and ask for specific help to get through our struggles. So I encourage each and everyone of you to find your quiet place every morning and every night to really focus on meaningful prayers and I promise you will see progress and blessings if you have faith that it will. 

We haven't taught alot the last couple weeks but a few highlight lessons have been with the Amaya family. We went over what general conference was and the importance of prophets. It was awesome to see the desire to learn in the kids eyes and how they care so much about learning about Jesus christ. After the lesson we all made papusas and that was my first time. They were fire.  Pictures located below. 

We also had zone conference so that was good. We ended up getting there like 20 minutes late because we missed a bus so that was cool but we snuck in and president didn't even see us so yeahhh.... we learned about the abrahamic covenant so if you don't know what that is hit me up on Monday and I'll share with you some slides about it. 

I can't believe it's almost been 6 months being a missionary! Time Is flying by and my desire to be here grows every week. I pray for all of you daily and I love you all. 
Keep my friend raphael in your prayers!!! He's gonna get baptized this Saturday so it's gonna be hypeeeeeee. He's already got his interview done and he believes in the book of Mormon so he's ready to go.

Well everyone I'm still here in inwood. The work is going alright. We had a cool friend rose and her little brother that were going to get baptised. She called Saturday and said that she is no longer Interested in baptism and that she would rather live the worldly life. It kinda broke my heart but it happens so much I know that she will come back at some point and god will provide another friend for us to teach and baptise.  Transfers happened and as far as it goes on where I'm at and who I'm with I'm still in inwood. Im going to miss elder narvato and i love that man so much. He taught me so much about charity and being content with life and what we have. Im excited to go visit him in the Philippines some day! I'm with elder bjornberg. I did get a training call and I guess you could call me his trainer but he's been out for 20 months and he went home from another mission and came back out to NYC. I don't feel like a trainer at all but oh well we are working...

  Well everyone you probably think im dead again you probably are upset with me. The mission has been pretty hectic lately. I ended up getting trasfered last thursday. My new comp is Elder Kwon from Korea. Funny story behind this. Some elders called us around 12 on thursday asking about a member in inwood, right before the conversations ended he mentioned his name was elder Kwon, and i blurted out of no where "Im excited to be comps with you" then 9 hours later i was called to go to brooklyn to be comps with Elder Kwon. The start of this trasfer has been really good so far. We had 4 people come to church on sunday who are really interested in baptism. Our finding area is mostly in coney island which is sketchy as heck but I want to find more than just a few new spots. Also my cousin Elder Beck is back in my district so thats nice. Theres a few of you who sent me letters I need to write back to so just know I didnt forget about you.  Please respond to this email if you love me...

NYC

 Well brother and sisters, moms and dads, aunts and uncles, friends and family, oh and great grandma. Wait.... u don't have any sisters...... It was a great week to say the least and I'm greatful to be here in brooklyn. The Lord is so involved in this work and I'm so so greatful to serve as a missionary. We have been teaching a family (mom and son) "Moe and Amaziah". I had met them on Coney Island back in May and she wanted to come to church but couldn't that week then from May into August she didn't answer the phone. Fast forward to about two weeks ago she picked up and I invited her to study with us and to be baptized. She was a little hesitant but after teaching her about the restoration, The Book Of Mormon, Joseph Smith, and especially Russell M. Nelson it was lights out and she desired baptism so much. All of the lessons were so fire and she even said this " I want to live in the Celestial kingdom and keep my covenants". I'm telling you ...
