Elder Chase Mikkola

    It's been a little but since I've written an email so I'll start with that. The past few weeks have been filled with lots of surprises and extra big surprises haha.      A lot of the people we have been teaching are doing really well at reading the book if Mormon every day. Coming to church (on time) is a whole nother story.        FUN FACT:( I'm trying not to throw up while riding on the bus writing this)       Last week I got a free pair of Nike Air forces from a street vendor. I talk to him everyday and I guess he liked me so much he just handed them to me and told me to take them. I'll probably never wear them in my life but they are a very cool nycm collectors item.         This week elder Stewart decided we wanted a quaran.   Well another week has passed by and time continues to fly. Sundri didn't get baptised this weekend and was out of contact but she came to church Definitely a miracle. We are going to her house tonight so it will be awesome. I know she will get baptised. The new transfers going pretty smooth. The work is hard and the days are Long. I'm pretty sure I fall asleep trying to write in my journal just about every night then I have to wake up and get into bed around 3 haha. Missionary work gets ya.  It's been raining like crazy this past week and on sunday it was windy too. So even though we had umbrellas we got drenched. Elder Stewart and I just gave up on the way home and started running and jumping in huge puddles.  Today I went to a mets/braves game and it was awesome. I sat with elder Stewart and Tony right behind home plate at the top of the bleachers. Tickets were only $15 each. Don't even ask how much a hot dog and Gatorade was.
