The book is blue so the church is true
This past week was a blurr. The week before we had transfers and my new companion is elder Cox from California. Hes a good missionary so it's gonna be a fun transfer. Last week we didn't have any baptisms but we did teach quite a bit. This week was pretty slow but we "found" alot of people on the street. It's pretty cool to meet so many people but it's hard after a week to put a face to a name. Our friend azul got baptised this last Sunday and it was such a fun experience. Minutes before the baptism our mission president showed up and I was a little nervous which idk why I was. The baptism went good then we came to the conclusion that I would confirm her a member of The Church. In sacrament I had that sacred opportunity. I was beyond nervous and my anxiety was going crazy but as soon as we layed our hands on her head I felt like there was nothing distracting me or in my brain but what God wanted me to say. I can't even explain it but I know heavenly father is in this work and it's through his son Jesus christ that we have this chance to repent, be Baptized, and be able to be forgiven of our sins time after time after time "through the atonement and the sacrament of course". Even as a missionary I still even have to repent daily. But... I know that the redeeming Power of the atonement of Jesus christ can change our heart and our desires according to his will. I promise that even for those of you that are mission age that do or don't decide to go on a mission YOU CAN STILL BE A DISCIPLE OF JESUS CHRIST! But I do know the changing converting power that a mission brings and I will never regret coming out here regardless of how hard it can be at times. Do your duty as a priesthood holder to help the church and be worthy of that sacred power. For the women in our church. Always be worthy of a temple recommend. I'm not saying that just because I went out on a mission means I'm perfect because I sure as heck ain't. But Jesus christ can change us little by little. I know that the atonement heals anything we have done and I've experienced that many many many times. Please strive to go to to church and take the sacrament weekly. Man I didn't know I was gonna rant that long but its what was in my heart so it feels good to get out. Anyways I better close this off in the name of Jesus christ amen.
